Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is conveniently located for exploring downtown Toronto with easy access to the Rogers Center and main tourist attractions. The rooms, although impacted by ongoing refurbishments causing some noise and dust, provide adequate comfort. The service, though sometimes delayed due to staff availability, was overall excellent and safe. The dining options were plentiful and included in the rate, offering a delightful buffet experience. The value for the price paid during high season was reasonable.
The hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were very good and spacious overall but the noise from the ice room could be bothersome. The service was not the friendliest, especially with some staff. On the bright side, the location was perfect for exploring most tourist spots easily.
My stay at the hotel was lovely. The room was gorgeous and I appreciated being given the specific room I requested. However, the plastic cutlery and polystyrene bowls didn't quite fit with the hotel's eco-friendly message, making it hard to sleep well sometimes.
Upon arrival, the room had a small fridge, microwave, and coffee machine; however, it smelled of mold and there were hairs in the shower and muddy footprints on the bathroom floor. The room appeared slightly dated, and there were some hairs from previous guests scattered in the bathroom, which was off-putting.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent for exploring downtown Toronto, although it was a bit further from the center than I expected. The dining options were decent, but seating could be limited during peak times.
The hotel is well-located, close to major rail lines and within walking distance of downtown attractions. The rooms, despite being a bit smaller than expected, were cozy but lacked a thermostat for temperature control. The service was friendly and knowledgeable, particularly the concierge. Dining offered a variety of options but could get busy with limited seating. Overall, a good value for the central location.
Upon arriving, I noticed a slight smell in the rooms, which were poorly designed with a major backup of people trying to get hot food. Although it was too cold and the layout was a bit awkward to store clothes, the furnishings were in the middle quality range. Service was fabulous, as the staff were very helpful, providing maps and tour info. They were also courteous in changing our room when requested and friendly upon both arrival and check-out. The location, while not downtown, is very special in Toronto, meeting our needs perfectly for walking in the downtown area, even if it wasn't the most comfortable place to walk at night. Dining was a big turn-off for me with little choice in healthy foods. The facilities were satisfactory overall.
The hotel offers spacious and very clean rooms, but be aware that it is a bit of a walk from the center, which can feel dodgier. The service is friendly and knowledgeable, with helpful concierge assistance, but there were some minor issues during my stay. The location is excellent for exploring nearby attractions, though a bit distant from the heart of the city. The dining experience was satisfactory but with limited variety. The facilities are currently under construction, affecting the overall experience.
The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms, perfect location, and friendly staff. Although the dining options could be improved, the overall experience is delightful. The value for money is decent, but certain aspects like Wi-Fi may incur additional charges.
I was really happy with my stay at the hotel. The room was just what I asked for and comfortable, although a bit noisy being on the second floor above the entrance. The service was great, with very friendly and helpful staff, and they even recommended some fantastic nearby restaurants. The location was very convenient, especially for getting around the city, but it did get a bit loud in the evenings. The dining options were varied and organized, offering a wide selection of foods, although it was served on disposable plates and cutlery.
